Who we are

We are Villam Hortus = garden farm (Latin) and we grow really good wholesome food.

Dr Stephen Winn and Stella Picciotto made a life changing decision in October 2024 to become custodians of a run down 54 hectare dairy property formerly known as Riverway Pastures.

Our mission is to revitalise the property which is classed as premium agricultural land.

Villam Hortus is located at Boorara Brook in the beautiful Southern Forests of Western Australia.

The Gardner River flows past the property with majestic Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees towering at the property’s boundaries.

Currently our primary livestock is Red Angus and Simmental. More information about our products is available on Our Products page.
